Pay for assessments people actually take.
No seats, no platform fee, no minimum. You buy credits; an assessment draws from the balance as the candidate works through it. A longer conversation costs more than a short one, and a candidate who never starts costs nothing at all.
Two lengths, chosen per role.
You pick the length when you create the position. The candidate’s clock is then set from the tasks that actually get generated, so an assessment is never cut short to fit a label.
-
Short
3 tasks · usually 35–45 minutes
$23–29per candidate assessed
A first round that replaces the CV pile. One conversation, real work, scored evidence.
-
Standard
4 tasks · usually 50–55 minutes
$32–36per candidate assessed
The default. The widest competency coverage, and a debrief across all four pieces of work.
Technical roles sit at the top of each range — coding and diagram tasks take longer than a spreadsheet or a quiz. You see the exact figure for your role before you invite anyone.
In every assessment.
- A conversation, not a formCandidates talk through real work with an interviewer that asks follow-ups. No timed quiz, no webcam-and-pray proctoring.
- Work products, not scores aloneThe spreadsheet they built, the chart they marked up, the memo they wrote. You read the actual artifact.
- Evidence they did it themselvesEvery task ends with a debrief on their own submission. Someone who cannot explain their choices shows it here.
- Simulations built from your roleTasks are generated from the position and your own company context, not picked off a shelf of generic exercises.
- A full recordTranscript, recording, canvas state and per-competency scoring for every candidate. Auditable when a decision is questioned.
- Cohort comparisonCandidates placed against each other on the competencies the role needs, not on a single blended number.
Buying for a cohort.
Credit is credit — there is no per-seat price to negotiate and nothing expires. Larger purchases earn bonus credit instead, so the more you buy the less each assessment costs you.
| You pay | You get | Bonus | Short | Standard |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $500 | $500 | — | ~17 | ~13 |
| $1,000 | $1,075 | +7.5% | ~37 | ~29 |
| $2,500 | $2,750 | +10% | ~94 | ~76 |
| $5,000 | $5,750 | +15% | ~198 | ~159 |
Assessment counts are worked out at the top of each price range, so they are a floor rather than a promise — most cohorts stretch further. Need more than this, or a purchase order? Talk to us.
Reading CVs is priced separately.
Adding a CV to your candidate pool costs 7¢. It is a library cost rather than a per-hire one: load five hundred CVs and assess twenty, and you pay for five hundred reads and twenty assessments. Five hundred CVs is about $37.
Start with one requisition.
A focused pilot on the role you are most tired of screening for, judged against a metric you choose before we start: time to shortlist, recruiter hours, panel load, whichever one is actually hurting.
