The most valuable thing your firm knows is stored in people's heads.
Who introduced you to them. What they said about the last proposal. That they would rather meet in person, that they have just moved teams, that their daughter is starting at Michigan, that you owe them a note about something from six weeks ago. None of it is written anywhere a system can use, because writing it down is work with no immediate payoff.
The tools that claim this ground do not hold it. Relationship intelligence platforms measure how often you email someone and how fast they reply, which is useful for ranking and useless for remembering. Your CRM holds what somebody typed in. Your note taker holds the meetings and nothing about the twenty threads between them.
So the work of remembering stays where it started, with you. And it fails in exactly the way you would expect: quietly, on the relationships you touch least often, which are usually the ones worth the most.
Frequency is not knowledge
Tools that rank your relationships by email volume can tell you who you talk to most. They cannot tell you what someone cares about, what you last promised, or why now is the moment to call.
The connection is invisible
You know a hundred people who each know a hundred people. Somewhere in there is a direct route to the person you need. Finding it means asking around and hoping someone remembers.
It leaves when they leave
The relationship lives in one person's memory. When they are on holiday, on another engagement, or gone, the firm starts from zero with someone it has known for nine years.

Get access, then connect your account
ARM is invite only while we roll out. Once you are in, sign in with Microsoft: ARM asks for read access to your mail, calendar and Teams chat, plus permission to create calendar events when you ask it to. You approve those on Microsoft's own consent screen, not ours.

It reads what is already there
ARM pulls your recent mail, calendar events and chat messages, then keeps them current with incremental sync. It asks Microsoft only for what changed since last time, not for your whole mailbox.

It extracts people and promises
A language model reads each message and produces two things: an updated summary of what is known about each person involved, and any commitments in the message, tagged as yours or theirs, with a due date when one is stated.

You act on it
Open the Planner and see what is overdue, what is due this week, and what has no date yet. Mark items done. Or press Schedule, and ARM proposes free slots in your working hours and books the meeting on your calendar.

Everything you know about them, written down for once.
ARM keeps a running account of each person, written from the content of what actually passed between you. Not an activity log. What they said they wanted, what they were unhappy about, what they mentioned in passing that you would want to remember. Every time new information arrives the record is rewritten to take it in, so what you read is current rather than a stack of fragments in reverse order.

Connecting a tool to your mailbox is a real decision. These are the specifics, not reassurances.
Tokens never reach your browser
The sign-in exchange happens entirely server side using PKCE. Your Microsoft access and refresh tokens are never handed to page JavaScript. The browser holds an HttpOnly session cookie and nothing else.
Encrypted at rest
Provider tokens are encrypted before they are written to the database. A copy of the database on its own does not grant access to your mail.
Message content is treated as untrusted
Email and chat bodies are written by people outside your organisation. Before any of it reaches the model it is fenced as data, so an instruction planted inside an email cannot become an instruction to ARM.
The model does not get to act on its own
Anything the model influences that becomes a real action, an invite or an attendee list, passes a deterministic check first. Attendees are restricted to people resolved from the source message.
Scoped to you
Every query is scoped by the signed in principal at the repository layer rather than by per handler discipline. A query that forgets its scope does not compile.
Nothing is sent on your behalf
ARM has no ability to send email or post messages. It reads, and it creates calendar events you explicitly ask it to create.

Sign in with Google works today. Reading Google data does not yet, so ARM runs on Microsoft 365 until it does. We would rather say that here than have you find out after connecting.
What people ask before they connect a mailbox.
Why do I need to request access?
ARM is invite only while we roll out. It connects to your mailbox, so we would rather grow it deliberately than open it to everyone at once. Requests are reviewed by a person, not a queue.
I was invited by someone at my company. Do I need to request access too?
No, go straight to sign in. An invitation already covers you, including if your email is on a different domain from the person who invited you. The request form is only for people who do not have an invitation yet.
What happens after I request access?
We review it and, if it is a fit, send an invitation to the address you gave us. Sign in with that address and you are in. If it is not a fit yet, we will tell you rather than leave you waiting.
Does ARM read all of my email?
It syncs your recent mail, calendar events and Teams chat: the last 30 days at first connection, then whatever is new after that. It reads them to identify people and commitments. It does not send email, reply to anything, or share content with anyone.
